PEX-2000 Series Print Engine:

The 4-inch PEX-2000 Print Engines easily integrate into any label applicator for smooth daily operations, reducing integration effort and speeding up time-to-market.

The PEX-2000 is highly compatible with hardware and software for easy integration. It supports DB15 and DB25 interfaces and major printer brands’ GPIO emulations. The customizable printer language firmware supports major printer languages so template commands and print files can remain the same.

The PEX-2000 is reliable for 24/7 operations, compact to meet space constraints, and is easy to service. From its angle-adjustable peel-off module, advanced sensor design, durable TPH, to optional RFID and Ribbon Saver, the PEX-2000 provides precise functionality and future-proof technology. It delivers high imprint accuracy for labels with a minimum of 5mm length and printing deviation within ±0.4mm. It’s also compatible with the remote printer management tools, TSC Console and SOTI Connect.

What should I know before using the printer to print the labels?

Why can't the driver wizard find my device? (USB interface)

1. Switch off the power and turn on again. 2. Computer might have detected the device already.

Why can't the printer detect the media type after calibration?

1. Media should be loaded and located correctly before calibration (check if the media is above the sensor) 2. Wrong media type might have been used.

Why can’t I use printer through Ethernet?
Please make sure the Ethernet cable and the printer are well connected and lights are flashing.
Why is my Bartender unable to print the label?
1. Check that the printer is powered on. 2. Check that the driver is correct. 3. Check that the printer and port is correct.
Why is there a wrinkle on my printout?

1. Inspect the print head mechanism and make sure the pressure is even. 2. Use the correct ribbon and the ribbon’s width should not be much wider than the label.
